Hello and welcome, this page is dedicated to giving you a quick journey through my career, qualifications and what led me to start my home-based salon business ‘The Studio’.

After completing my education with Graham Webb International I began my career at RUSH, where I started as a stylist. This role allowed me to hone my skills and gain invaluable experience. Over the years, I was promoted through the ranks to the most senior roles, including team leader, salon trainer and colour specialist, each bringing new learning opportunities and growth.  After some years I decided I needed to experience other companies and further my education from a different technical stance.  Headmasters brought a new dimension to my work.  I was able to further my skills within their academy and particularly excelled in colouring including Colour change and bespoke colouring such as ombre, balayage, microlights and more.  I found my work took on a more natural and subtle dimension, which complimented the alternative and creative skill set I had already acquired.

So, in 2018 I decided to work for myself.  My primary goal was to bring the experience of going to the hairdressers but in a private, less intimidating environment.  I wanted to keep all the good bits of the salon like the backwash shampoo and being able to sit and catch up with a magazine and a cuppa, which is what I think sets me aside.  I am proud of what I have created, and I think it marries all my experience as a stylist in an environment people can truly unwind and leave looking and feeling their best
